Advantages
Early detection and removal of adenoma has been shown to reduce the incidence and mortality of CRC. Colonoscopy remains to be the gold standard for detecting CRC and pre-malignant adenomas. However, this procedure is costly, labor intensive and uncomfortable. This technology provides a non-invasive means for detecting CRC. |
